Product piracy is an increasing problem, with which also PHILIPP PLEIN has to fight with. In Eastern Europe and Russia fakes reached new dimensions. They are offered not only in markets in which imitations are sold knowingly, but also in stores in which fakes in high quality are sold to unaware consumers at full price. The commercial as well as the damage for the image of the brand is enormous.  For Fall/Winter 2009 we will provide each article with security labels. Besides this a campaign against fakes with international celebs is planned.

Beautiful people and cool music – the five sexy singers of chart breaking US girl band “Pussycat Dolls” just passed by in Ibiza for introducing their brand new album “Doll Domination”.  A luxurious mansion in the hills of Ibiza Island was the perfect spot for the sexiest summer party of the season – at a live performance and photo shooting the five glam girls rocked the crowd with wearing the hot summerlook of PHILIPP PLEIN couture. The monokini in black framed by huge exclusive Swarovski stones was the eye catcher of the show.

Designer Philipp Plein even dares the risky leap from 30 meters height.

Michail Gorbatschov, Fidel Castro or Quentin Tarantino – most outstanding persons from scienes, politics and public life were awarded for their statements against war. From now on also designer Philipp Plein is among these personalities. The hand over took place in context of the VIP Aftershow Party of the Russian MTV Awards. The show was rounded up by a live performance of the Russian Super Star Dima Bilan, all dressed up in PHILIPP PLEIN as well as an exclusive PHILIPP PLEIN fashion show with a real tiger performance.
